This presentation will highlight the process of creating constructed wetlands and how these aquatic resources can provide both financial and mitigation solutions for future projects. During the presentation, we will review the permitting process and learn the potential financial benefits that these projects can provide.
Mike Heller offers more than 24 years of experience working with natural resources within the Midwest specializing in wetland delineations and wetland mitigation site selection and design. Mike’s wetland work includes Section 404 permitting; wetland mitigation design and construction oversight; mitigation banking and monitoring; and project management for federal and state agencies, state highway departments, land development, and not-for-profit organizations. Mike’s entire career has been dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and restoring natural resources with an emphasis on wetland and water resources throughout the Midwest.
